Oh, but wait, yet more weddings...

So these two weddings don't count in the official tally, as were weren't invited, but just to show one more way how this year has been wedding-nuts (and to say congrats!), I'm posting two weddings that happened in June very close to home - well, very close to my cubicle, actually! Kirk, the Art Director of Yen Press (and the only OTHER member of the Orbit/Yen art department) and Devi (one of the Orbit editors) both got married in June. It has been wedding central around work - as we have an open seating kind of office (no walls) so we've all been hearing the same stressful wedding planning conversations in triplicate. They both got back from honeymoon and now it's time for them to listen to MY bajillion wedding phone calls.

Kirk & his wife actually met at work - they were both designers at Little Brown Children's upstairs until Kirk moved down to the 13th floor to take over Yen Press. Two graphic designers getting married - talk about scary wedding planning!!! (One is obviously bad enough) And they had an awesome, very-DIY wedding in CT - complete with an Elvis impersonator! I hear it went perfectly, and congrats to Kirk & Tracy!

Devi & Mark had a traditional Hindu ceremony in Indiana where her parents live. There are so many flowers and SO much color, the pictures are absolutely gorgeous. That's one awesome thing about a Hindu wedding - you certainly don't have to agonize over picking a color palette - you get them all. Congrats Devi & Mark!
